Prep Time: 10 Mins Cook Time: 15 Mins Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 Cups Coarse Wheat Flour 6 tbsp oil ½ tsp salt Ghee for Spreading (Clarified Butter)
Method:
Add the coarse wheat flour, salt, and oil to a large mixing bowl, mixing well until the oil is combined.
Add hot water and knead the dough until it becomes hard but not dry. Divide the dough into 6-8 equal parts and shape them into round balls.
Roll out each ball into a round shape with a rolling pin, add a few press marks with a rolling pin, or prick it with a fork so it does not puff up. They should be about 6-7 inch circles and 3-4 millimetres thick.

Heat a tawa pan on a medium flame.

Place the bhakri on the tawa pan. Cook each side of the bhakri, pressing with a wooden roti chapati press, until each side turns golden brown.
Once done, please put it on a plate and spread about 1 tsp of ghee on top.

Enjoy hot with tea and athanu or mag ni dal!
