Preparation and Cooking Time: 10 min.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
½ tbsp Black Peppercorns
2 Cloves
2 Green Cardamom
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
¼ tsp Asafoetida
1 tsp Garam Masala
2½ tsp Dry Mango Powder (Amchur)
1 tsp Black Salt (Sanchar)
¼ tsp Salt
Method:
In a pan, dry roast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, cloves and cardamom by adding the salt for 2-3 minutes, then add the turmeric powder and roast for 30 seconds.
Switch off the flame and add red chilli powder, asafoetida, garam masala, dry mango powder and black salt.
Let it cool, grind everything into a fine powder, and transfer it into an airtight jar.
Frankie Masala is ready.
